Leslie Wetmore, CDT | Office Manager
Leslie has been in dentistry since 1976. She is a talented Certified Dental Lab Technician. She has taught at Nova Southeastern Dental School, and ran their dental lab, as well has owned her own private dental lab. Leslie worked with Dr. Tiwana at UNC Chapel Hill in the Dental Faculty Practice as her invaluable, trusted dental assistant for eight years before retiring. Dr. Tiwana coaxed her out of retirement to come work with her at Chatham Dental Arts. Leslie runs mission control (our front desk) at the practice, and helps our patient’s file insurance and coordinates their treatment. She genuinely cares about our patients, and often has baked goodies for them to eat! In Leslie’s spare time she enjoys spending time with Liam, her adorable Biewer Terrier, her grandchildren, and gardening.
Kirstin Catlin-Friedrich | Dental Hygienist
Kirstin was born and raised in Maine. She graduated from University of Southern Maine in 1992 with a BA in International Studies. She then completed her AAS in Dental Hygiene from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX. Prior to moving to North Carolina she and her family lived in Wisconsin where she raised her three adult children who still reside there. She hopes they will move closer to NC in the future! She has an identical twin sister who lives in the area you may run into, so don’t be surprised if she does not recognize you! In her spare time Kirstin enjoys swimming, playing classical piano, skiing, travel, and she is currently learning to knit. Kirstin is fluent in German. She looks forward to meeting the wonderful residents of Chatham County where she and her husband now reside, and she is excited to be part of this community!
